A quick and healthier dessert recipe is here! This Cottage Cheese Protein Brownie is made with 7 simple ingredients and only takes a couple minutes to make in the microwave. If you’re looking for something to beat the cravings, try one of these delicious and diet friendly brownies!

You’re going to start this one with a blender or food processor and a microwave safe bowl. If you don’t care about the cottage cheese texture you can make this right in your bowl.

In whatever you’re using, add 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 1 scoop of good tasting chocolate protein powder, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 teaspoons of sweetener, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, a pinch of salt, and some milk.

Blend or process all of those ingredients together until smooth.

The amount of milk you add will depend on what your mix looks like, start with 1-2 ounces and go from there. As a reference point, you’ll want it somewhat thick but not “soupy”

You can also use any flavor protein powder you want as long as you think it’ll compliment the brownie flavor. Some other flavors I’ve used?

From here, coat your microwave safe bowl with cooking spray and pour your mix in. Coating your bowl with cooking spray is only needed if you want to remove your brownie from your bowl.

This is the part where you can mix in or top it with sugar free chocolate chips, nuts, or anything else you’d like in your cottage cheese protein brownie.

Last, put it into the microwave for around 1-2 minutes depending on how powerful your microwave is.

While it’s microwaving make sure to keep an eye on it the first time you make it so you don’t microwave it for too long which will give you a dry brownie.

  1. Don’t have or like microwaving things? Bake this in the oven on 350F/176C for around 15-20 minutes.
