End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement for the Cisco AnyConnect Essentials Mobile, Premium, and Premium Mobile ASA Hardware Bundles (2024)

Cisco announces the end-of-sale dates for the Cisco AnyConnect Essentials Mobile, Premium, and Premium Mobile ASA Hardware Bundles. The last day to order the affected product(s) is June 1, 2015.Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until otherwise specified by a component-specific end-of-life announcement or new Product ID. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available under the terms and conditions of customers' service contract.

Customers with active support contracts will still be able to receive support for their Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance hardware and to renew service contracts. Support for the Cisco ASAs purchased in these pricing bundles is tied to the base ASA hardware product.

Critical bug fixes for AnyConnect v3.1 will be available through March 1, 2016.

Updated AnyConnect OS support for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux will be available for v3.1 through July 31, 2015.

Product Migration Options

This announcement pertains to the end-of-sale dates for Cisco ASA hardware bundles containing Cisco AnyConnect Essentials Mobile, Premium, or Premium Mobile licenses. Support for this hardware and licenses with active support contracts is not affected by this end-of-sale announcement.

Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco AnyConnect Apex or Plus licenses. Information about these licenses and migration options for existing Essentials and Premium or Shared Premium licenses (purchased prior to March 2, 2015) can be found in the AnyConnect Ordering Guide at: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/security/anyconnect-og.pdf.

Purchases of AnyConnect Essentials, Premium, or Shared Premium licenses subsequent to March 1, 2015, are not eligible for Migration licenses to AnyConnect 4.0.

Cisco AnyConnect Apex or Plus licenses are required to access AnyConnect 4.x and later.

Critical bug fixes for AnyConnect v3.1 will be available through March 1, 2016.

Updated OS support for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux will be available for v3.1 through July 31, 2015.

Service prices for Cisco products are subject to change after the product End of Sale date.
